Consumer Focus Investigations & CF Labs have developed this online tool to assist leaseholders in England and Wales who are considering forming their own Right to Manage company (RTM company) to take over the day to day running of your block of flats. The tool will guide you through the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, to establish whether you and your fellow qualifying leaseholders might be able to exercise your Right To Manage. It is essential that you have already made contact with your neighbours to find out how many residents are of a similar mind to you before starting.
By answering a series of YES/NO questions, the online tool will provide you with an answer to whether your particular group of qualifying leaseholders have the legal right to form an RTM Company under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002. The answers you select will be displayed on the right hand side of the page. This will allow you to review your answers and return to a previous question.
Further information about the Right To Manage, and sources of advice can be found in our guidance.
